Musk wants to bring back fired Twitter employees

The hoped-for peace did not come after the Twitter group Elon Musk (51) took power last week. On the contrary, complete chaos reigns.

On October 28, Musk bought Twitter for $44 billion. He dismissed the top management on the same day. Mass layoffs of 3,700 employees, nearly half of the workforce, followed last Friday.

As US media and the Bloomberg news agency reported, things got out of hand. Many learned via email that they had lost their jobs, and employees said their work laptops were blocked at any time. Meanwhile, Musk tweeted that he had no choice, as Twitter was burning $4 million a day.

Musk claims he fired people “accidentally”

But according to Bloomberg, dozens of employees who lost their jobs were asked if they wanted to go back to their desks. The reason you quickly changed your mind from your former employer: you were “accidentally” fired. For others, management first realized that their skills and experience were needed to achieve the goals set by Elon Musk. (pbe)
