More than in 2022: Zurich boss Mario Greco receives salary of CHF 9.8 million in 2023

The insurer made nearly 10 percent more profit last year and also increased its dividend. This situation had a positive impact on the salary development of the group management, as can be seen in the annual report published on Friday. Both basic salary and short- and long-term variable pay increased.

According to the report, Zurich Group’s board of directors received total compensation of 55.9 million francs, compared to 55.7 million francs the previous year.

Chairman of the Board of Directors Michel Liès received a total salary of 2.0 million francs this year, as last year. Zurich paid approximately 5.9 million francs in compensation to the entire board of directors; this is approximately 220,000 francs more than the previous year.
