Still, those in charge of the destinations make time for a trip to Zurich. The Blick Winter Awards will be presented for the third time on Thursday evening at the Volkshaus in Zurich.
Where do the Swiss prefer to ride their skis? For nearly two months, the Blick community chose their favorite destination from 73 ski areas. More than 62,000 votes were received.
Laax wins big
This year’s double winner comes from Grisons. Laax received the most votes from the community and can now call itself the best ski resort in Switzerland. The Graubinden region also achieved a double victory in the “Action and Snow Parks” category.
Arosa Lenzerheide GR came first in the “Family” category, just like last year, while Davos Klosters GR was the winner in the “Leisure and Entertainment” category. When it comes to cross-country skiing, Goms VS has managed to convince the Blick community for the third time in a row. While a new destination, Blatten-Belalp VS, enjoys the first place in the “Small and Beautiful” category, Zermatt-Matterhorn VS is also happy to be chosen as the best destination in terms of “Ski and Snowboard”. Crans-Montana VS has come out on top as the best ski resort in Western Switzerland.

As part of the awards ceremony, winners can receive their trophies from leading laureates such as Grand Councilor of Grisons and former alpine ski racer Luana Bergamin, 38, or former Swiss ice hockey player Florence Schelling, 34, in cross-country skiing. Olympic champion Mike Schmid (39) or former ski star Didier Cuche (49).
In addition to the Blick Winter Prize, the winners will also benefit from a gross advertising volume of 85,000 francs each on the Blick Group channels.
