Another top executive is leaving Credit Suisse, agency reports. Current compliance chief Rafael Lopez Lorenzo will be leaving the bank in the coming weeks, as the Bloomberg news agency reported, citing people in charge of the matter.
Lopez Lorenzo is said to take over in September 2021. Her predecessor, Lara Warner, left the bank in April. The US hedge fund has come under criticism over the two fiascos surrounding Archegos and the closure of the Greensill fund.
CS does not want to comment on a possible departure
Lopez Lorenzo’s departure is not about the strategy review CS will inform this Thursday, “Bloomberg” continued. It stands in stark contrast to the possible departure of investment bank boss Christian Meissner, which was speculated about last week. The unit is likely to be reorganized as part of the conversion.
The bank did not comment on the possible departure of Lopez Lorenzo on Monday at the request of the AWP. (pbe/SDA)
