The rail operator carried almost 1.07 passengers in the financial year ending at the end of October. That’s nearly a third more than the previous year, the company announced Thursday. This is around 16 per cent below the 2018/19 visitor record of 1.24 million passengers.

Traffic revenue increased by 40 percent compared to the previous financial year, reaching 46.7 million francs. Overall, the result was a 35 percent increase in operating income of 72.2 million.

Operating expenses increased by 32 percent to 48.9 million. Thus, Titlis Bergbahnen increased its operating profit (EBITDA) by 41 percent to 23.2 million francs. Net profit was three times higher at 10.3 million.
