Scandinavian countries are overflowing with holiday-hungry people like Switzerland. This means Edelweiss Air will launch its third destination in Norway next summer and its 70th short-haul destination overall.
We are going to Evenes in Norway every Monday from June 10th to August 26th, 2024. The small town of just 1,300 inhabitants is the gateway to the island world of Lofoten, “perfect Norway”. Rugged mountains with magnificent sea views, coral beaches and colorfully painted fishing villages attract you here. The area is also known for its killer whale sightings and stockfish.
The Lofoten Islands are located 100 to 300 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle in the Atlantic and are also the destination of Hurtigruten mail ships. They are now Edelweiss’ third Norwegian destination, after Bergen and Tromsø. During the summer, Edelweiss had already increased its northern expansion by starting flights to Ivalo and Kuusamo in Finland.
Edelweiss uses an Airbus A320-200 with a capacity of 174 passengers on its flights to Lofoten.
