There is a separation in the management team at UBS, which was appointed to the Swiss regions last week. The newly appointed head of the Zurich region, Sabine Heller (41), is leaving the bank. A UBS spokesperson confirmed the change, which was first reported by financial portal “Inside Paradeplatz” on Friday in response to AWP’s request.
Heller was one of two women on the list of UBS’s new regional bosses. It is said that she had already vacated her workplace on Friday morning. UBS did not want to comment on the departure.
UBS banker takes over
Heller was one of a total of ten regional managers for Switzerland appointed last week as part of the integration of the acquired Credit Suisse. The appointments were made on October 23.
Sabine Heller was one of three new heads of Swiss regions coming from Credit Suisse. Instead, it is understood that longtime UBS banker Patrick O. Müller will take over as regional director for Zurich. (pbe/SDA)
