Many vacancies in the construction industry: craftsmen and women can look forward to the golden times.

A quarter of a million jobs are still vacant in Switzerland. There are many job postings, especially in the health and construction sectors.

According to staffing company x28, a total of 259,750 open positions were announced in the second quarter. The deadline was May 15.

Many vacancies in Zurich

Most job postings were posted in the canton of Zurich (56,265), followed by the canton of Bern (41,422). The least vacancies in the second quarter were seen in the cantons of Uri (739) and Appenzell Innerrhoden (395).

Looking at the individual occupations, employers working in the health and construction sectors were looking for personnel. Nursing staff and craftsmen are especially in demand in these sectors. (SDA)
