Gastro Zurich’s board of directors filed a criminal complaint with the police against its former administration. As Gastro Zurich announced Wednesday, the allegations include disloyal business management, embezzlement and fraud.
The defendants are said to have written a total of 440,000 francs on the expenses. Among other things, as mentioned in an earlier article, 55,000 francs of wine, 15,500 francs cigars, 31,200 francs scented candles and air fresheners.
The criminal complaint stemmed from irregularities noticed by the new administration. Therefore, it has appointed an independent auditor to conduct an investigation.
This showed that private expenses were deducted from the business multiple times. Based on current information, Gastro Zurich estimates the damage to be CHF 440,000. Gastro Zurich did not want to provide further information to Blick due to ongoing operations. (SDA/kae)
