Why you look terribly boring in the office: 3 details that make the image banal

It’s hard to find an office these days that still has strict rules about locker rooms. The business dress code has long since moved away from the stereotypical white blouses and stilettos – no, of course, you can wear them if you want, but that’s no longer the only option. Yes, the office capsule has expanded to vests, oversized jackets, overalls, pleated skirts, mini sundresses and sneakers. But this variety is not a guarantee that the picture will be cool!

Stylist Lydia Tomlinson always tells her subscribers: don’t buy new things – learn to wear what you have! And that is the secret of a stylish wardrobe, including the office one. Yes, imagine, we don’t always wear those very basic shirts and jackets as we should!

All these simple truths were demonstrated by the stylist in a short video. Take a closer look: here are three tricks to spice up your work outfit in seconds. So…

  • Don’t tuck your whole shirt into your pants. Straighten the back of the shirt and tuck the front slightly to create a slight bow. Now the combination of shirt and pants looks “complicated”, more voluminous, right?
  • Throw a jacket over your shoulders when working in the office. It won’t hurt the movements, the jacket will hold – and the image will get another layer. And you will look more relaxed, stylish;
  • do you have a favorite white shirt Great, now we buy the same thing, but black – and add a white T-shirt or top under it. The costs are minimal and at the same time the pants and shirt outfit gets a second lease of life: the extra layer is a great trick!
