How To Buy Mass Market Things You Won’t Regret: Business Secrets That Will Save You Money Fashion

Let’s agree on the shore: no one says that mass stores are suddenly bad! Yes, the reality is that more and more people are rejecting fast fashion, and the giant brands that put a wild amount of clothes on the market are receiving more and more criticism.

Buying low-quality things just for a momentary rush of joy is unhealthy, both for the environment and for our psychological state. But at the same time, the mass market has cool and cheap clothes that will last you a long time and become the best investment in your wardrobe – that’s a fact!

The only question is how to distinguish one-day items from truly valuable finds. And just for this case there are a few tricks that work!

Fashion blogger and stylist Amanda Rafeh discussed this very topic with subscribers. He cites H&M as an example in his video, but in general, these tips are easily applicable to any mass brand. So, in order not to miss the selection and find a really cool new thing, you need to pay attention to these nuances:

  • watch out for thin knits. Yes, such sweaters, sweaters and cardigans are cheap, but they do not hold their shape at all and after a few washes they will ruin your look. But you can pay attention to large knitting – these are more durable models;
  • pass by pants and skirts that don’t have pockets or other “shaping” details. Due to the lack of darts, tucks, buttons and zippers, such styles do not shape the figure in any way. This means that the volume on the tummy and hips will only be emphasized – not very pleasant, right?
  • “Soft” shapeless jackets are also far from the best idea. If the jacket doesn’t have shoulder pads and structure, it will just hang over your shoulders and you won’t look nice. And the money will be wasted;
  • Mass market shoes are good, but not every model is worth buying. Extra-trendy novelties such as patent leather moccasins are likely to quickly become unusable due to the flimsy material, but sneakers with thick soles can be extremely “tough”.
