Fashion club of fashion: we collect 6 looks for spring-summer with the VOICE editor

A year ago, you and I were frantically scouring online collections to figure out which stores to replace our long-loved Western brands. Literally in a day, the usual brands closed and the wardrobe somehow refused to update. I had to quickly rebuild and find new favorite places, but a year later everything changed.
Now we have, so to speak, fast dial brands with great shoes, non-trivial bag designs, jewelry and accessories – and all of them are homemade. In addition, new strong players from abroad appeared on the market, in which you can be sure: and yes, we are talking about the sensational opening of the Turkish brand Club in the shopping centers of the capital – Aviapark, Afimoll and Metropolis.

Why are we talking about trust? In its native Istanbul, the brand quickly became popular, expanded to a network of stores throughout Turkey, and then headed beyond its borders. All this thanks to a very thoughtful balance of timeless designs (after all, you never get tired of the hot trends), interspersed with selective and truly usable trends in life, and separate men’s and women’s sections – and you know us, we like to visit the “men’s half” for plus sizes!

That’s why this spring we strategically chose a new shopping location – club stores. You can easily recognize them by the flying goose logo, created by the legendary illustrator Olaf Hayek, who worked for the New York Times, Montlanc, Hermès and other major brands. The characteristic image of the goose symbolizes the spirit of adventure and freedom, as well as mobility: Club was originally created as a sportswear brand, but gradually expanded the collection to casual, while maintaining the emphasis on the comfort of patterns and breathable materials.

So, as you can see, while waiting for the stores to open in Russia, we did quite a bit of searching and even had our eyes on some very fresh and stylish everyday combos. The maximum program for spring-summer is activated – go ahead, try it!

Let’s start with the highlight of this fashion program – a trench coat with a juicy tropical print. If there’s an anti-depressant in the world, it’s this: a bright, obscenely comfortable raincoat with classic lapels and a comfortable belt. Straight sleeves with a slightly lowered shoulder line make it possible to wear even tight sweatshirts under outerwear (you know, the weather in our parts does not shine with constancy) and a relatively wide belt with a bow draws attention to the waist.

But our favorite feature is that the shell is made just for playing colored blocks. Just choose an outfit in one of the shades you see on it and repeat in the outfit. We chose a dress with a ruffled hem in tropical green – that’s what we call a “breath of freshness”!

The second pantsuit set, to be honest, is inspired by Eda Yildiz. Admit it, you too have been “stuck” on this series at one time – at least in its entirety, at least in the fragments circulating on social networks. Anyway, the main character has a sense of style, so we’ll take her fashion lessons and wear classic trousers with a trendy single-breasted jacket and top in the spring – with the same tropical print as the trench coat above.

By the way, this is one of the tricks of the Club – to add non-banal prints to the lines, which on the one hand will perfectly dilute the basic capsules and make your images non-banal, on the other hand, they will not ripple in the eyes. How

cool tropical leaves are worked in this print and how naturally this whole color palette is combined on clothes – go crazy!

And yes, add a neat baguette in a lavender shade to the look. Rigid frame accessories are an official must-have for Spring 2023! You don’t have to go far for them, they are already in the brand’s collection.

We’ve all been waiting for non-trivial jeans to hit stores—and no, not cargo. After Givenchy showcased denim with pearl beads, one of the brands simply had to go further and bring back the rhinestone denim trend. Naturally neat and even intelligent, so the new thing becomes a beautiful tribute to zero. The Club has heard our command – please, shining denim in the truest sense of the word.

Since the lower part turned out to be quite complicated due to the amount of decor, add a monochromatic top to it. Take a closer look at the button-down leather shirt: according to Tagwalk, leather is the most popular material of 2023, so it’s not only possible, it should be worn now. Thanks to premium materials, the shirt will “breathe” on the body, so there is no greenhouse effect – comfortable!

And this picture is our great love. Now let’s explain why: remember we said that Club was originally created as a sportswear brand? Therefore, the brand focuses primarily on the quality of materials that do not cause discomfort in the heat and easily “sit” on the body. So, in this cheerful shirt dress, we will go through the hottest part of the summer, when it is especially important that the fabrics “breathe” and allow air to pass through.

Thanks to the trapezoidal shape, the novelty does not restrict movement in any way, and you can also wear it now – with a trench coat or jacket to protect yourself from the wind. Well, where without white sneakers with a reinforced sole? We noticed them, frankly, at lightning speed – the shoes in the store are conveniently matched right under the capsules, so you don’t have to look for them for a long time.

Let’s take things a little harder and tame the unusual prints from the Spring/Summer Club collection. The combination of ethnic and geometric patterns is, frankly speaking, not an easy thing. Here it is important that the material allows the print to “open”, to look bright. The designers of the brand did their best and created a pleated skirt with an interesting pattern with slim pleats, which blend together and hold their shape thanks to the mixture of tencel and cotton in the composition.

Mix the skirt with an orange double-breasted jacket, a comfortable t-shirt with an elegant print and a black bag. And let’s just say that we will take this accessory with us in the fall: the soft shine on the matte surface looks expensive, and the shape of the bag allows you to hold everything you need – what you need for everyday office life and study. Two out of two!

And where are we without flying summer dresses for spring and summer? In addition, Club has a separate line made in a boho aesthetic. They are dresses with animal prints, ethnic patterns (like the skirt we looked at earlier), a mix of noble and natural shades from chocolate to ecru. From all that magnificence, we choose a summer dress in a “zebra” stripe and in a warm coffee shade.

We will add a sand crop jacket with pockets to the pair – by the way, this is a very strong trend of recent seasons. Make sure that the waistline of the dress and the jacket are at the same level: this way you visually stretch the silhouette. And we will complement our boho outfit with a compact cross-body, which will surely move into our wardrobe in autumn – so versatile!
