On the other hand, we have a harsh reality: when you start looking for those vaunted mom jeans, it turns out that they won’t be friends with you and they don’t want to settle in your wardrobe. Unpleasant details are revealed in the cutting room: one model is “oversized” in the waist, another can barely be pulled over the hips, a third looks just like a bag, a fourth is rather skinny. And what is the problem?
Definitely not in you and not in your character! It’s all about designs that (surprise) don’t always suit the average customer. Western brands obviously follow European or American proportions, and many domestic brands “take an example” from their foreign counterparts. So it turns out that when sold in our market, mom jeans are not meant for you and me.
Yes, yes, it is better to choose pants that are slightly larger in the waist than in the hips – otherwise we will get another pair of skinnies, which, by the way, have long since gone out of style. Therefore, make sure that you can easily sit and generally move in your brand new moms and carry them on your shoulder after the strainer. Still more reliable than searching for the perfect pair of jeans that no one has cut yet!
