Let’s start with the most important thing: there’s nothing wrong with the tummy! And many fashion bloggers, on the other hand, are increasingly promoting the wearing of low-cut pants and tight tops even without a reinforced concrete press. Yes, yes, not only Emily Ratajkowski can do it!
But here you have to admit that not every fashionista is comfortable with this style. Yes, this is a certain challenge for yourself – not to hide parts of the figure and wear clothes regardless of idealized proportions. So no one has the right to demand such fashion emancipation from you, until you decide for it yourself.

“Cut” styles
Pants, shorts and skirts that “cut” the belly in the widest part, visually very full. If you want to achieve a slimming effect, lift the waist higher – where you have the narrowest part. It all depends on the fit, and you will have to find your own: for some, the wide part of the stomach coincides with the waist of low-rise jeans, for others, with the midline.

Tight stuff
And tight in the tummy area. There is absolutely nothing wrong with emphasizing the arms or legs, maybe even choosing a tight top, but the waist area must have “air” – otherwise all attention will be focused on it.

Shapeless silhouettes
The other extreme is clothing with a hood. This is the case when you ditch everything and wrap yourself in an oversized one without thinking about style. Of course, oversized is in fashion, but only when it is thought out and not chosen out of desperation. Instead of shapeless dresses or t-shirts that crumple on the stomach, choose a loose shirt: due to strict vertical lines, it will stretch the proportions and hide the problem area.

Materials with “built-in” volume
In any case, we must avoid “bulky” fabrics that appear bulging in the light. This applies to some types of velvet and panne velvet, materials with the addition of viscose. Look at how the highlights appear on them in the light – they emphasize the most prominent parts of the figure. Another visual volume is showing – and we didn’t order such 3d!

Instead, pay attention to fabrics that “eat” light. The same laundry, for example: stays matte and looks elegant. In general, all that glitters is not good!
