Lace is of course a luxurious material – it looks classy and will decorate any outfit. But it must be remembered that tricky relationships in the wrong ratio can be dangerous at any age, not just after forty. The slightest oversight and voila – your image looks vulgar and tacky. You can avoid this if you keep relatively simple rules in mind.

If you want to wear lace in everyday life – please! Small woven insets can be found on satin tops and linen slip dresses – yes, such models have generally lost their wild popularity, but now they are making a comeback at the behest of 21st century aesthetics. It can be a full lace top, skirts, trousers or a cardigan, just remember that in this case the other components should be restrained and concise.

No one forbids wearing an elegant lace bra without it being completely hidden under a “protective” layer of clothing. But this must be done carefully – carefully select other components and leave some mystery, in no case show the lace bottom layer, say, in all its glory.

Full lace dresses are a separate category. Please, let’s dress without minis, tights and unexpectedly plunging necklines! A black loose lace midi or maxi dress will look advantageous and emphasize your status. The main thing is that the translucent guipure is accompanied by a dense fabric lining.

And don’t forget to add accessories like May Musk. For a trench coat, throw a wide leather belt over your shoulders, just make sure the cape is a bit longer than the bottom layer. Almost any model is suitable as a shoe – rough boots like martens will look stylish.
