When a guy becomes interested in style, it shows immediately. First, because of the gulf between groomed and ungroomed men that really exists in our latitudes. Secondly, due to the fact that for the first purchases, the guy tries to meet and exceed all possible plans and compensate for the harsh childhood in things inherited from his older brother.
And here everything often happens that it would be better not to even start these games in style. Today I want to talk about the typical mistakes guys make when they download a book or watch a video course from some famous stylist.
Be careful with the jacket!
If the guy has never worn a suit before, then his first jacket should definitely not resemble Nikolai Baskov’s stage costume. I will say more: even a checkered jacket will be too much! It is better to choose a basic dark blue model – not too long, to the middle of the butt, so that you can wear it with jeans with a pronounced waist, but without a horizontal bend.

On such a dark blue background, it is very difficult to “screw” even if you experiment with shirts and accessories… But if it is a velvet jacket with satin lapels, a little too much – and you are no longer a normal person, but a gypsy baron! With shoes – the same topic. You should start from scratch and experiment with socks, and then you can afford something extravagant.
Cardigan belongs at home!

The cardigan has gone through a very strange journey over the past 20 years. In the Soviet Union, men practically did not wear them, and in the 90s they became the epitome of smart casual, and cardigans appeared everywhere. It seems logical, because they work like a jacket and allow you to hide the tummy and visually expand the shoulders, so stylists of all kinds began to dress their clients in cardigans. The peak of this trend was guys in cardigans and ties in nightclubs. Guys who never wore waistcoats, let alone ties.
Here it is worth learning a lesson once and for all: a men’s cardigan is for everyday or even home wear. At home, in the cinema, to meet friends, but on a date, to a restaurant or a night club – in no case. And don’t wear a cardigan with a tie. This way came out of western private schools, but why do we need this pernicious influence?
Follow the trends!

If the guy didn’t really bother with the topic of clothes before, then trends are definitely not the place to start building a style. In the first place is the color, type, body type, general style direction and trends with spices, you need to try them a little and introduce them into the wardrobe very carefully. And don’t forget to filter each trend with custom colors and type settings.
More precisely, no more than one trend per month. Doubts about this strategy? Yes, at first there will be a slight feeling of injustice, but believe me, in a few years you will look back at the pile of trendy junk that has lost its relevance and realize that you would have been better off buying another blue jacket, from the gola!

The most dangerous trends of our time are beards and tattoos. The latter are also fashionable, and if you think that the tattoo you are about to get is generally the coolest thing in the tattoo business, then you will be very surprised how quickly it goes out of fashion. Calligraphy on the forearm and chest went out of fashion, flowers on the neck went out of fashion, prison naivety in the form of roses and cartoon style went out of fashion … Here you need to immediately come up with the possibility of breaking them later (if the tattoo is not very strong, you can kill him 3-4 times, so there will be enough fun for 20 years).
It’s even worse with a beard – everyone has become brutal and because of this the very category of brutality has somehow become devalued, and now that the fashion is gone, shaving your beard is like doing self-castration, depriving yourself of pseudo-brutality. The golden mean is neat bristles.
Don’t forget to edit!

Grooming is all about: hairstyle, beard, armpits… A new shirt is useless if the hairstyle doesn’t match the occasion, and in general it’s better to keep silent about the smell. Lucky us, we live in the era of short, practical haircuts – just a little lipstick or wax and a flat comb! Styling with a hairdryer only takes 5 minutes, but at the same time it improves the appearance by a hundred points for the whole day.
The same goes for the rest of the body. It is not necessary to shave the armpits – this is a matter of taste, but if a man sweats a lot, he should consider that a deodorant works better on shaved skin. A manicure is also not necessary, but burrs and cracked cuticles are not the best choice. All you have to do is buy special cuticle scissors and apply an oily cream to your hands at night, and everything will be neater in a week.
Perfume is a matter of taste, but it’s better to be content with it. If it is an oud fragrance (oud is in the name or pyramid), then as a daily fragrance it is only suitable for men over 40 with a strong natural scent. For young guys, a fragrance with musk and herbal and woody notes sounds better during the day, in the evening you can add spices and ambergris. There should be at least two perfumes: one per day – light and fresh; the second one in the evening is more saturated, a plume. The sense of smell is physiology and its role should not be underestimated. When a man is dizzy to the point of nausea, then who will look at how he is dressed?
It’s important to be, not to look!

Some women surprisingly manage to work and earn decent money, playing exclusively the role of beauty. For men, it’s more complicated: the most stylish and beautiful are those who do their job. If a man really wants to impress with his cool, then you either have to do something great or make what he’s doing the best thing on the planet.
Look at the guy in the photo: he’s cool as hell and it’s not fancy glasses or bracelets, it’s a camera with a big lens! If you can’t decide on a hobby, you can always take up photography, because every girl has to be photographed at some point – for a long time and with a professional camera. She can quickly take a picture of herself at home on the phone, and to sprinkle her with autumn leaves or drive her barefoot into the freezing river water is priceless!
