Fashion 6 pants that don’t suit anyone – the hottest styles of 2022

All fashion anti-trends can be divided into two categories. The first models of clothing were “expelled” from the fashion Olympus at the behest of trendsetters and designers – such a story, for example, became cargo, which a few years ago was regularly called outdated and irrelevant, and this season they again became favorites of stylish girls. But the second category is usually a knockout: it includes models that not only look unpopular, but spoil your proportions.

“Ripped jeans”, as fashion experts unkindly call them, still won’t disappear from the stores. That’s why they are in demand – that’s true. We won’t deny it: many bloggers still wear denim with “wiped” knees, and yes, it’s popular on social media. However, only loose jeans with a loose fit are relatively relevant, but not skinny with rolled up ones.

Unlike palazzos, which captured the trends of 2022, culottes have not been included among fashionistas for a long time. A cropped version of flared pants looks interesting only in a very unusual style and, as a rule, in staged photos in the studio, but in everyday life they shorten your legs and steal centimeters from your height. Thank you – no need!

Capris make the same statement: the extra horizontal line across the ankles makes the figure more squat and angular, so this model looks good on very rare occasions. It’s no wonder that fashions rely on bright flares, palazzos and bootcut jeans – elongated models slim the figure.

How many times have they told the world… They will probably repeat themselves again and again, because no matter how much skinny people are vilified, they still find their way into trendsetters’ wardrobes. But let’s be honest: figure-hugging denim on Elsa Hosk or Emily Ratajkowski, for example, is one thing, and skinny jeans that don’t hold their shape and show skin imperfections (and it happens) are quite another.

An unexpected find? Yes, mom jeans, which are considered so universally comfortable, are gradually moving into the category of non-essential styles. This is just the case where the pants come back on top, and more than once. But for now, avoid variations of mom jeans with hypertrophied volume in the hip area: they are similar to banana jeans, which widen the figure and often shorten the legs. Be careful with them!

However, there are no “buts” here – afghans are suitable only for thematic filming and stage clothes, but do not pass “face control” into the basic wardrobe. Pants-“harem” don’t fit the smart-casual style that we all stick to in everyday life, so you’d better not look for them – it’s better to just give up and give preference to the classics.
