If you still haven’t passed through the eclipse corridor (bad as it may be), we suggest giving it a confident end and try to forget all the troubles at least for a while – and put on a stylish dress, turn on the “I’m the queen of this party” mood and go out.
In such moments of gray spleen, we often recall the words of Emanuel Ungar: “You don’t need to wear clothes, you need to live in them.” Why not listen, especially if you love skirts and feminine outfits with all your heart? And while many girls put away their dresses as soon as it gets cold outside, we have some good reasons to put them back on the shelf and actively combine them with your autumn wardrobe. We’ll show you how!
Midi and “pipes”
What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of an image for the cold season? Nam – knitted (perhaps with the addition of wool) cream colored midi dress. Cozy! This is a basic wardrobe option for those who don’t want to worry about styling. Both straight and flared silhouettes are already presented on the runways in stores. Consider pairing it with high tube boots or even over the knee boots in a classic color (white or black) with a bulky outerwear.

Warm dresses can be cut out – why not if you want? A thigh-high slit is a great opportunity to show off your gorgeous legs (and you’ve got them, no doubt about it). Don’t forget to wear tights to keep warm and voila – you’re warm but still the fashion goddess of the day.
Mini and high boots
Mini fan, don’t be mad, we have something for you! A dress of this length and high boots with a wide top were created to complement each other perfectly. You know it yourself: a fast wind can always get through outerwear, so it is better to give preference to insulating materials such as wool, tweed or dense knitwear with a lining.

From spring to autumn
Unfortunately, we don’t have a magic spray to create a dress like Bella Hadid used at the Coperni show from Paris Fashion Week – remember how the technologists “stitched” the dress directly onto the model’s body, simply “brushing” it with a special compound with curing fibers? These technologies are not yet available to us, so we have to make do with what we have. And sometimes with what appeared in our wardrobe a few seasons ago.
Inventive fascists were able to do it here as well: they modified the spring dress models for low temperatures. Just wear a knitted sweater or vest over it to make the outfit visually “heavier” and appropriate for the season. A thousand and one life hacks for tucking sweaters in your waist immediately come to mind – now you can just use them!

With warm stockings
Nobody wants to lie down with a fever and a headache because of the traditional autumn cold, so we always wear stockings under our clothes. Fortunately, their manufacturers provide room for experimentation – so many different options with prints, density and colors have appeared on store shelves! Tights made of natural fabrics (such as wool or cotton) are a must for the cold season.
For example, gray knitwear is suitable as an accent with a laconic dress. When the weather allows you to embody fantasies in fashionable images, you can wear elegant kitten heels instead of shoes (slingbacks, as in the photo, are not recommended now for obvious temperature reasons – we will leave them for spring).

Don’t like wool tights? Don’t worry, we have a stylish solution: tight stockings or leggings. The last option is worth paying attention to if you chose an image with a mini dress – a few bones, as you remember, do not hurt, so a short dress requires additional warming. A warm coat is perfect as outerwear.
You have to be more careful with a down jacket: if a midi dress peeks out from it for a few centimeters, it will create an effect of sloppiness. Therefore, we choose a combination of medium-length jacket and midi, or just a long warm down jacket – it will create to save you from the cold and allow you to wear fashionable dresses in late autumn!
