Remember the childhood conundrum: when you have a choice between one super thick sweater and five thin sweaters, which one would you prefer to keep warm? The correct answer is five thin ones, which, thanks to the layers of air between them, accumulate more heat than one tight jumper. And this task of ingenuity, by the way, is used by fashion bloggers!
By the way, ingenuity is most often used by fashion from Scandinavia – apparently they are close to the issue of temperature. And anyway, recently it was they who began to determine wearable and fresh trends, but this is a topic for a separate discussion. And now we focus on a simple, but very comfortable and unusual way to dress for autumn and keep warm.

It’s just that the skirt doesn’t seem to hold the temperature and will quickly cool you down. Mini – yes, for sure. However, a comfortable knitted midi can easily replace, for example, denim. If you choose a knitted dress or a mid-length skirt with a good composition and add tight tights and high boots underneath, you have a warm outfit and a fresh look guaranteed!
We remember our childhood puzzle: due to the space between the stockings and the skirt, another layer of warm air appears, which is “sealed” by the high top of the shoes. If you don’t go wrong with the choice of dress and skirt (we’re looking for a decent composition with the addition of wool), then there’s nothing to worry about: just add an extended coat or a minimalist down jacket without unnecessary decorations and the outfit in the style of street style stars is ready.

Don’t worry about how to combine such classic shoes and outerwear – just check out our guide. And be sure to try the new combo: you’ll see, it’s as warm as jeans!
