Clemmie Fieldsend has been writing about the fashion industry for 14 years and for the past two years has worked as fashion editor for the UK’s leading newspaper, The Sun. Clemmie knows what’s happening on the catwalks and which brands the stars prefer. And he also understands why underwear is a very important element of any image.
We all want to wear things that make us feel like a million bucks, and if they can still please our partner, then that’s a great added bonus. But how not to get confused when millions of thongs, briefs, balconettes and push-ups are presented in stores? Clemmy is sure that the main thing is to remember which four pieces of underwear now belong in the wastebasket.
Underwear made of stones

“Once upon a time, such a decor was considered the height of style, but these days it’s not easy to find bras with a shine. This means they are no longer in demand and will look dated,” warns Clemmie. However, he does not rule out that “radiation” will return to a number of trends – after all, now everyone is crazy about the Y2K style, and in the two thousand fashionistas adored “jewelry”.
Super push ups

A little extra volume, says Clemmie, never hurts, but it’s easy to overdo it, and protruding breasts aren’t the most stylish look. “Bras with two-inch pads are good if you’re looking to enhance your bust,” says Fieldsend. “But when you wear a fitted top over it, the padding becomes obvious and takes center stage instead of you.”
T-back thong

Such panties became super popular after Hailey Bieber wore a thong “bar” dress to the Met Gala in 2019. According to Clemmie, it’s better not to repeat this trick for mere mortals: such underwear just gives the impression that a wedge has been driven between the girl’s buttocks.
Briefs with inscriptions

There’s nothing wrong with a little slogan on your underwear if it’s appropriate, says Clemmie. “Knickers with a printed slogan on the bottom are meant to be seen by a certain person, and a little playfulness in bed never hurts. But if you wear them during the day, you should be careful. If you lean against the shelves in the supermarket, the inscription will appear from under the clothes and will be seen by those for whom it is not intended, “says the style expert.
