Shellea Fowler is a stylist, trainer, nutritionist and meditation teacher with 1.6 million subscribers on YouTube. Shelley calls herself “the voice of women over 50” – it’s for them that she makes her videos.
According to Fowler, women ask her all the time, “What should I wear now that I’m in my 50s? I don’t want to look like a pensioner turned schoolgirl, but I’m afraid that’s exactly what will happen if I keep wearing my usual stuff.’
Shellea believes that the problem is marketing: it happened that women “over 50” were invisible to advertisers, as if they were sure that each of us lives up to fifty years, and then immediately jumps to seventy. It’s no wonder, then, that it’s now so easy to get bogged down in a too ‘youthful’ or too ‘mature’ style. However, Fowler believes there is one simple trick to deal with it.

How to choose a style that will make you look younger
“Go to the search engine and enter the name of a star of your age and your figure. Add ‘street style’ to it and look at the pictures,” advises Shelly. He emphasizes that the similarity of characters is very important – things should be chosen depending on the skin.
“You’ll see a lot of pictures of a celebrity on the street in casual clothes,” Fowler continues. “This will help you understand how to choose casual clothes that will be appropriate for our age. This method will help you not to spend money on a stylist – celebrities get advice from the best professionals the industry has to offer.
Shellea also cautions against blindly copying the first image that pops up: you should pick the one that you think is really cool. Firstly, as they say, if it seems to you, then it doesn’t seem to you, and secondly, you should choose what suits your taste to emphasize your individuality.
