Not a trend, but a philosophy: why girls wear diamonds every day 07/03/2023, 17:19

You’ve probably heard of the term “quiet luxury” – a wardrobe that doesn’t scream its value, but subtly hints at it through premium materials, elegant patterns and thoughtful design. Of course, “quiet luxury” refers to both shoes and accessories, including jewelry.

Do you remember how relatively recently fashions tried to get an iconic and recognizable piece of jewelry? And all this in order to make it clear from a distance what brand they are wearing. Now everything has changed: as dictated by “quiet luxury”, diamonds have ceased to be “tips of beacons” and have entered a different state.

Jewelry is no longer used so often to be worn flamboyantly, for show. Anyone who understands jewelry and without a hint will understand the value of a necklace, ring or bracelet. Now, jewelry fans choose accessories according to another criterion – how they feel when wearing this or that piece of jewelry. And yes, this is a continuation of the philosophy of love and self-care that has permeated mass culture.

Diamond earrings for lunch with friends – why not? Especially if it is an urban design, reminiscent of the shape of skyscrapers sparkling in the sun – like earrings from the royal collection of three rare panels, which are separated by sparkling round cut diamonds.

How about a sophisticated necklace that goes perfectly with a white cotton shirt and sand-colored high-waisted dress pants? Diamonds dipped in white gold lead us in a slim, elegant line to the central composition of precious stones of various cuts – and the necklace feels status, but not ostentatious.

Interestingly, even a large ring with a natural cushion-cut diamond weighing 3.7 carats does not appear too massive. On the contrary, it looks harmonious with a silk or satin blouse without unnecessary decor – that’s exactly the “quiet luxury” that has been overshadowing trends lately. And which, we think, as a philosophy of self-love and style, will remain with us for many years.
