Sometimes when shopping, we don’t think about what influences our decision to buy clothes. Have you ever noticed that in one store you like yourself during fitting and even take a selfie in the mirror to post it on social networks, and in another you want to run away and not buy anything else for at least a year. For many, going to the store is already stressful and leaving the comfort zone, because you need to choose a thing that will give you not only comfort, but also confidence and the admiring glances of the people around you. The rehearsal room is like a confessional: we expose ourselves and have to look at ourselves sensibly from the side without the help of special effect filters and other sneaky programs on a smartphone. Thus, the mirror in assembly rooms plays an important role. And often the decisive factor in the purchase is precisely how we see ourselves there … behind the curtain.

How to learn to choose things correctly and not pay attention to unsatisfactory design features of assembly rooms? Of course, light plays an important role. It happens that in the fitting room the main light is placed at the top and is very sharp. In this case, you will probably be afraid of your reflection. But don’t panic and rush out of the store. You can go to the trading floor, look in other mirrors. Or ask a friend or one of the employees to take a picture of you – you will see what you really look like from the outside.

Another type of lighting (quite rare, I must admit) are lamps placed on the sides of the mirrors. Such light is soft and diffused. This is the best lighting and trust me you will love your reflection with it. But, unfortunately, mirrors with such light are quite expensive, not all stores can afford it, so this kind of lighting is not available everywhere.

And in some clothing stores, the mirrors are really noticeably slimmer, they stretch the silhouette due to the distorted curvature – and this is a minus. Stores need to sell more products and that’s why they use such clever tricks.

For the sake of interest, please pay attention to the conditions in the assembly plants of premium brands. As a rule, soft carpets are always laid out there so that you feel comfortable, pleasant and you are not cold enough to change clothes. You will never see bright lamps there that can highlight your flaws. Pleasant, light and relaxing music is always playing in such stores. This is done on purpose so that you choose slowly and happily, so that you are willing to consider other things that the counselor has to offer. Wholesale stores often play fast and loud music. This is some kind of gimmicky move to ensure that a person buys quickly and impulsively and leaves the fitting room quickly without interfering with the rest of the customer flow.

It is very important to understand that even if you are not completely sure whether the item is right for you, there is an option to return it. Get it, try it at home under conditions you are comfortable with, and then soberly consider whether you need it or not. You can make a return within two weeks, in some stores even within thirty days.

Based on the above, we come to the conclusion: there is no need to worry about assembly. First of all, you should pay attention to the cut of the clothes and its color. Remember that what you look like in real life and how you look in fitting rooms are not always the same. We considered this topic precisely because it is a problem for most (or rather all) girls.
