Absolutely no one can get around Spider-Man these days. On Thursday, Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, the sequel to the 2018 animated hit Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, launched and was also announced to be coming alongside Spider-Man 4. Tom Holland will also do other productions with the Spider Man – both animated and live-action variants.
But not only producer Amy Pascal chatted out of the box in recent days, Spider-Man actor Tom Holland himself also took the opportunity to talk about the popular cartoon character. But instead of philosophizing about his own past and future as Peter Parker, he brought up “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” in an interview with AP on the red carpet at an Apple+ premiere.
Tom Holland loves “Into The Spider-Verse”!
“I think the first Spider-Verse movie is the best Spider-Man movie ever made”Holland explained, adding that he was very proud of all the people who worked on the production. He also can’t wait to finally see the sequel in theaters and is sure that “Across The Spider-Verse” will not disappoint.

Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame – the list of movies where Holland slipped into a spider costume is known as quite a long time – and yet “Into the Spider-Verse” belongs to its heart. Pascal, who produces both the “Spider-Verse” and the Holland movies, would be very happy to have something to say about this praise.
What’s next for “Spider-Man” in theaters
It is currently not possible to say exactly when “Spider-Man 4” will hit theaters. The fact is that the film is being produced. However, Hollywood screenwriters are currently on strike and there are major delays in numerous film and series productions. This also affects the sequel to “Spider-Man” with Holland.
However, the start date for another animated movie “Spider-Man” has already been set. “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verseis scheduled to hit theaters on March 28, 2024, so in less than a year. But that is not everything. A live-action movie starring Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy is also in the pipeline! You can read everything we know about it here:
