Sad series finale on ProSieben: One of the funniest sitcoms of the past 10 years on free TV ends so undignified

Saying goodbye will be difficult, but all good things must come to an end: the task force from Brooklyn has been able to build a large fan base since its start in 2013 – and in Germany “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” is also full and it will be available on the streaming provider Netflix took off. And why not, the likeable police unit around the crazy but quite capable cop Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his colleagues captivates with heart, a likeable cast of characters and a lot of humor.

The last 10 episodes of the eighth and final season have been streaming on Netflix since December last year – now the NYPD’s 99th precinct chaos police journey also comes to an end on German Free TV: ProSieben currently airs several episodes of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” on Wednesdays. On June 21, 2023 at 12:50 AM there will be a seamless transition to the final episodes of the eighth season.

An inauspicious time that should offend all lovers of this damn funny series.
