Bollo and Chicheme Festival in La Chorrera

Everything is ready for the second festival of Bollo and Chicheme Chorrerano. This gastronomic and cultural event will be held from June 2 to 4.

The venue of this festival will be Tourist center El Chorroin La Chorrera, West Panama province.

For this 2023. the event will be complemented by artistic presentationsfolklore, sale of handicrafts and herbs.

A workshop on the topic will be held during the festival chorreran drums, which will be dictated by folklorist Carmen de La Cruz.

New this year will be the holding of three competitions: for the best chicheme and bollo preñao and for the best folklore dance couple, which will have cash prizes.

The festival will also include a caravan and typical dance, as well as the favorite cumbia from Chorrerana.

For him Friday June 2, A farewell caravan is scheduled for SM Alba Margarita Núñez Ricardo, the outgoing queen, and the subsequent coronation of SM Carolyne Aymeth Castillo Amor, the 2023 queen.
