Spend the night in a tent, caravan or caravan – you can do this at many campsites in Switzerland. Here you can experience pure nature and still be in a monitored area with reception, sanitary facilities, electricity and water.
In some places, even glamping is possible, i.e. glamorous camping with all kinds of accommodation available.
According to the statistics portal Statista, 396 campsites were operated in Switzerland in 2020. Thanks to the wide range of products, the right place for a wide variety of tastes can be found – from there you can start city tours or nature walks or simply enjoy the panorama and nature. “I particularly like the Aaregg campsite in Brienz, right on the shore of Lake Brienz. It is perfect for families and offers a large playground, great facilities and is beautifully maintained. The view of the lake and mountains surrounding the campsite makes the camp even more beautiful. It’s really worth a vacation or a short break. The excursions you can take around Lake Brienz are wonderful. It’s never boring. We loved it here and will go there again.”
