Everything is ready for the III edition of “Foodie Fest-Flavors of Asia 2023”, which will be held at the beginning of June.
Asian cuisine quickly became popular in Panama in recent years, as Thai, Vietnamese and Lebanese have flourished alongside Chinese and Japanese food, said Ileana Wong, director of Aileen Art World, SA and organizer of the “Foodie Fest”.
His goal is to expose Asian culture and gastronomy with dishes from the region of China, Japan, Lebanon, Thailand, India, Vietnam, Korea, Indonesia, Russia and Peru as guest countries.
In addition, there will be attendance embassies who will present their cultural traditions.
this gastronomic and cultural festival will be held June 3 and 4, in the island of the ATLAPA congress center.
It will be attended by more than 50 restaurants that delight us with Asian gastronomy, as well as talks and demonstrations by excellent chefs in various culinary skills, cooking and pastry workshops for children.
There will also be a bazaar for sale traditional crafts, accessories and decorationsare edible snacks from different Asian countries.
But that’s not all, there will also be folklore dances, martial arts and wide variety stages, as well as a children’s area with attractions for children and young people, said Esteban Cheung, director of the Ethnic Market and also the organizer of the event.
The event represents a cultural exchange between Panama and Asian countries, which in turn contributes to the post-pandemic reactivation of commerce in our country.
In the lobby of the event entrance, there will be a commercial area with samples of equipment, supplies, accessories, various services and car showrooms.
