Not only are there cameos in blockbuster hits like “Guardians Of The Galaxy 3”, the Netflix spin-off “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story” also has special guest appearances to offer. In one case, though, it’s really a bit hard to spot, even though it’s a very special cameo: In “Queen Charlotte” “Bridgerton,” novelist Julia Quinn did the honors. It’s Quinn’s first foray into the Netflix franchise, which isn’t featured in Bridgerton’s first two seasons.
Although Julia Quinn is quite famous for her Bridgerton novels, probably not all fans know what the author looks like. You can see her cameo in episode 6 of Queen Charlotte, Quinn is sitting on a bench in the garden when Agatha (Arsema Thomas) and Adolphus (Tunji Kasim) go for a walk there. Here’s a screenshot of Julia Quinn’s performance:

“I’m just sitting on a bench gossiping, but I’m sure,” Quinn said of her first Bridgerton guest appearance. It was really nice for her to finally appear in the universe of the series, she explained even if it was very hot and you literally had to “sew them into the costume”.
Julia Quinn also revealed why she hasn’t made a cameo in Bridgerton yet: “It was really last minute. I haven’t felt like it yet because it takes a lot of time and when I’m there I’d rather see everything. I live far away from the filming location, so I don’t go there often. But this time I decided to do it because I had a little more time on set than usual.”
Cameo #2
And there’s another cameo to discover in Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Tale: pop star Lemar is in! He even has a bigger speaking part than Lord Smythe-Smith, who can be seen in episode 5 from about 2:30pm. Here’s a photo of his performance:

The singer also posted some photos from his shooting day on Instagram:

“It was a really cool experience,” the musician wrote in his post. As cool as it was, it was exhausting, Lemar revealed in an interview with . “[Das Kostüm war] very stiff. And the shoes, the shoes were really ‘ouch’, wow!”
In the end everything looks good, but it was very painful to walk around like this. That’s why he admires the protagonists, who walk around in such shoes all day and also have to dance – he only had to do that for a guest appearance.
