Castillo has documented signing a group of athletes, including her son, to the Combine Academy with various American universities and she never stops talking about how proud she is of her son.
Lucas, a baseball player, signed the contract Highland Community College and received a 100% scholarship, his mother confirmed in one of her posts on Instagram.
“The story of Luke A story of overcoming, of a child who never doubted God’s plans, will count,” said Castillo.
Likewise, as parents, he commented that they never doubted it ability of their son, they always made him dream big dreams.
“Lucas was never the best at baseball, but his mission was to work hard for his dreams. They earn things for their work,” Castillo said.
He then added: “Many discouraged him along the way, but he never gave up, he stood up and said ‘mom, I want to be scholarshipd or signed, and the rest comes naturally, I’m going to meet my goal.’ Seeing you happy today makes me the happiest woman in the world…”.
After announcing the good news, Castillo and his family received several congratulations:
– “Congratulations Susan and Boris, Lucas’ achievement is yours too.”
– “Congratulations on the continued streak of success, it is a source of inspiration for many boys who are on that baseball path.”
– “Many congratulations and success to young Lucas… he already knows how to do it… dedication, persistence, effort…”.
