Celebration of the black ethnic group in Plaza Santa Ana

Everything is ready for the second edition of Sabor A Santa Ana, on the occasion of celebrating the month of the black ethnic group.

The celebration, which will be held on May 28more than 20 art activities and cultural, on Plaza Santa Ana, will start at 11:00 am

That day will stir history, cultural expressions and will highlight the identity black nationality.

In addition, they will have positions artisans, gastronomic entrepreneursrestaurants with a selection of local and Afro-origin dishes.

Attendees will also be able to enjoy a fashion show by designer Nataly Orrego, combined with art presentations, live music, dancing and a series of representative dances of this celebration.

But that’s not all, because they will provide training to visitors starting at 1:00 p.m. with creative economy expert Gerard Neugovsen.

In addition, workshops will be held gastronomy and promotion of gastronomic entrepreneurship, interactive and educational activities for all audiences.

The event will end at 19:00 with a presentation comparsa del arrabal and a parade of independent bands.

Sabor A Santa Ana, is a cultural project traveling, which seeks to save and reactivate public spaces, in different locations in the country.

“This gastronomic and cultural fair is characterized by being traveling and is part of the creative and cultural industry of Panama…” says Gabriel González, Deputy Minister of Culture.
