The American model Ireland Baldwin, daughter of Hollywood stars Alec Baldwin (65) and Kim Basinger (69), has become a mother. On Instagram, she announced the birth of daughter Holland on Thursday (local time). The 27-year-old also posted a photo of her holding the newborn in her hospital bed – along with her boyfriend, the musician André Allen Anjo. The 38-year-old is also known by the stage name RAC.
At the end of the year, the expectant mother announced her pregnancy. Since then, she has regularly posted pictures of her growing baby bump. In a podcast in January, she already announced that she would like to call the girl Holland. This is the first grandchild of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, who were married from 1993 to 2002.
Alec Baldwin has seven other children from his marriage to yoga teacher Hilaria (39) in 2012. The youngest, daughter Ilaria Catalina Irena, was born last September. (aeg/sda/dpa)
