Kanye West was back on Twitter after a nearly two-year hiatus – and was immediately blocked again. At the beginning of last week he caused a stir at Paris Fashion Week with a “White Lives Matter” T-shirt. The musician makes so many headlines that you easily lose the overview. That’s why we summarize his eventful and high-profile weekend here in order:
Content was removed from Kanye’s profile on Friday and his account has been restricted. As a spokesperson for “Meta” told “CNN”, he violated company guidelines. He gave no information on what kind of content is meant. However, as the broadcaster suspects, the measure has to do with screenshots of a conversation Kanye had with rapper Sean Diddy via chat. The American Jewish Committee rated Kanye’s choice of words as anti-Jewish. The NGO is committed to combating anti-Semitism and defending the rights of the Jewish community.
Rapper Diddy, who rescued Kanye under “Puff”, wanted to meet him in person after he expressed his disapproval of the “White Lives Matter” shirts. Kanye West then posted the following screenshots to his Instagram account:
With this statement, Kanye alludes to a conspiracy theory.
It didn’t take long for Kanye to find another platform to vent his anger. Already on Saturday, he posted his first tweet after almost two years of not tweeting:

The photo could indicate that he is running for the next US presidential election – that is in 2024. Kanye last posted to the platform in November 2020, after the last election. In Kanye’s following tweet, he attacks meta mogul Mark Zuckerberg:
Look at this mark
How you went kick me off instagram
you were my nigga pic.twitter.com/YQzjw01jur

‘Look at that, Marc. how can you kick me off instagram You were once my friend,” the rapper writes about a common photo. Elon Musk responded to this tweet with the words, “Welcome back to Twitter, my friend!”
In his subsequent tweets, which have since been deleted, Kanye wrote:
By “death con 3” he is probably alluding to the military term “defcon”, which means a threat to national security. Depending on the magnitude of the threat, levels one to five apply, with the latter being the lowest level.
As reported by The Sun, Twitter has confirmed that it has suspended Kanye West’s account for violating its terms of service on Sunday.
Since then, it has been quiet again about the musician, who is now described by the “Spiegel” as a “scandal rapper”.
