TV host Michelle Simons has contracted covid-19 again and is currently recovering.
Simons explained via TikTok that he started feeling bad a few days ago and that he was going to go to the beach with his parents at the weekend, but since he wasn’t feeling well, he decided to get tested as a precaution.
She was positive and the virus “knocked her down”, and while she is recovering she is staying in guest room in his house.
On his fifth day, counting from when he started presenting symptomsSimmons got another one home test to see if it is already negative, but no.
He documented how the test was done and the result: “I’m going to get tested for covid to see if I can return to work tomorrow…”.
She commented that she usually has these home tests at home when she goes on a trip, they got her out of trouble, but she expected to recover on the fifth day.
End of a medical emergency
The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the end of the global health crisis COVID-19an announcement that comes more than three years after the Agency declared the highest level of warning.
“It is with great hope that I declare the end of covid-19 as a global health crisis,” said the Director-General of the WHO Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.
“This does not mean that covid-19 is over threat for world health“, he indicated.
