Jamie Foxx spoke for the first time after spending three weeks in a hospital in Georgia.
The celebrity took to her social media to thank her for the outpouring of love and support she received following the medical complications that saw her admitted on April 11. The Oscar winner’s health problems are still unknown
The actor uploaded this Wednesday, May 3, a publication on his Instagram account, where he has 16.2 million followers, showing that he is recovering.
The message was short words with which he wanted to thank for the encouragement he received: “I appreciate all the love! I feel very happy!”
In his Instagram stories, he also left a message in which the interpreter of Ray (2004) or Django Unchained (2012) took the opportunity to thank his friend Nick Cannon for replacing him as host in the new season of his game show Beat Shazam: “I appreciate my friend @ nickcannon. See you soon”.
His daughter Corinne, 29, shared published the same posts from his father on his own Instagram profile, where he also thanked his followers for all the good wishes for Foxx’s recovery.
It was she who published the news on the same profile last month that her father had to go to the hospital.
Foxx was admitted to a hospital in Georgia (Atlanta) on April 11, and the actress also reported what happened in a message in which she barely gave details and also asked for privacy for her family.
“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxxhe experienced a medical complication yesterday,” he said.
He added: “Fortunately, thanks fast acting and with great care, he is already on the road to recovery”.
