CNCO, a Latin reggaeton band founded in Miami, Florida, is ending an eight-year career and four studio albums with the release of “La última canción” and a world tour, according to a statement released this Wednesday.
It is an acoustic ballad that represents all of his race, song who played live, but whose recording was kept until now as a way to say goodbye to their followers after almost a decade of music career.
CNCO accompanied the release of their latest song with the start of their farewell tour next week, called “The Last Date”with stops in the United States, Latin America and Europe.
The tour will start on May 9 at La Paz, Bolivia) and will expand to the rest of the world throughout the year.
Members CNCO performed “La Última Canción” live on SiriusXM Satellite Radio’s group show, Artist Confidential, with several fans in attendance.
The statement points out that the song was obtained current public approval present and that from then on the quartet knew that the song was destined to make an impact among their followers.
“La Última Canción” thus becomes official farewell themeaccompanied by a video directed by Anita Tillero.
“We were looking for something that represented this stage and our entire career. We got our hands on this song and loved it. We are very happy because it represents our dedication to the fans,” the band members point out.
CNCO was created in Miami in 2015 with the winners of the first season of the television competition “La Banda”.
The group was initially founded with Christopher Vélez, an American of Ecuadorian origin; Richard Camacho, from the Dominican Republic; Zabdiel de Jesus, from Puerto Rico; Erick Brian Colón, from Cuba, and Joel Pimentel, an American of Mexican origin, who left the group in 2021.
Puerto Rican artist Wisin was the producer of his debut album “First date”, while Ricky Martin was the artistic manager.
The list of four albums of his career is completed with “CNCO”, “Déjà Vu” and “XOXO”“, the latter from 2022.
The band, whose members at the time of its founding had between 14 and 19 yearshe has been awarded Premios Juventud, Premios Lo Nuestro and Billboard Latin Music Awards, among other honors
