‘Japan Foodie Fest 2023.’ will end on May 7

“Japan Foodie Fest 2023” is a festival that combines Japanese gastronomy and culture in Panama.

The activity, which culminates on May 7, will have workshops origami, anime drawings, painting, sake tastingan exhibition of cooking workshops and a presentation of traditional Japanese music.

The goal of the festival is to penetrate into Japanese culture in a fun environment for the whole family, where children, young people and adults will be able to appreciate and enjoy innovative and traditional Japanese cuisine, reported Yliana Sam, spokeswoman for the event.

During the event there will be presentations by international artists with Japanese and Panamanian music.

They will also be able to appreciate the famous cooks, who will prepare food for those present to taste.

This cultural-educational, gastronomic and artistic festival, which, in addition to other attractions for all visitors, will include exhibitions of archery, judo and knives, a traditional tea ceremony.

Panamanian singer, composer and music arranger, Patricia Vlieg, recognized as a cultural ambassador, who has represented the country on different stages in Latin America, Europe and Asia, will also be on stage with her album “Cabanga”, exclusive music for the Japanese market.

The festival will open its doors to the public on Friday the 5th and Saturday the 6th from noon to 10 p.m. and on Sunday the 7th from noon to 8 p.m.

“Japan Foodie Fest 2023.” is performed in Soho Mall and for free.
