Filming of Alec Baldwin’s ‘Rust’ continued

Filming on “Rust” resumes this Thursday in Montana (USA), eighteen months after the accidental discharge of a gun driven by actor Alec Baldwin that killed cinematographer Halyne Hutchins.

The film’s producer, Rust Move Productions, said in a statement signed by its attorney, Melina Spadone, that filming will take place at the Yellowstone Film Ranch instead of the original location in New Mexico.

Baldwin continues the project as co-producer and how actorspecified by the manufacturer, according to the information American media.

State Attorney New Mexico filed two indictments for manslaughter in January Alec Baldwin for Hutchins’ death, which occurred on October 21, 2021, at a church in the district Santa Fe.

It was Baldwin who activated the killing weapon cinematographer. It contained live ammunition, although those types of bullets are prohibited in shooting.

The person in charge of security protocol during filming, Hannah Gutierrez Reed was also charged with manslaughter, while assistant director David Halls, who was responsible for delivering the weapons to Baldwin, accepted a charge of minor offense in agreement with the Prosecutor’s Office.

Last month, the film’s producer movie and authorities of New Mexico reached an agreement under which the company paid a fine of $100,000 for the omissions security in recording the facts established in the investigation.

Baldwin always denied responsibility in the tragedy, and Gutiérrez-Reed claimed to have confirmed that the cartridges he loaded the revolver with were blanks.
