Hina Maeda, Japanese violinist will perform in Panama

Hina Maeda is a 21-year-old Japanese violinist who won the Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition. He will be in Panama this week.

He “Henryk Wieniawski”, the most prestigious violin competition in the world and is held every five years in Poland.

Maeda will be presented at a concert this April 20, at National Theatre, accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra (OSN).

The event, starting at 7 p.m., is part of the NSO’s concert season.

In addition, it is carried out as part of the commemoration of 90 years of diplomatic relations between Panama and Poland.

The artist will play famous Polish pieces he emphasized the culture of that country, according to the Polish diplomat in Panama, Leszek Bialy.

Violinist

Hina Maeda He graduated from the Tokyo College of Music, and among his achievements is the first prize at the Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition (2022).

In addition to the music competition in Tokyo (2020), the second prize in Japan Music Competition (2019) i first prize at the Kloster Schöntal violin competition in his age group (2015).

As a soloist, he performed with the Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra, the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra and on the official tour of the laureate of the 16th Henryk Wieniawski International Violin Competition, coordinated by the music agency SONORA, and led a selection of more than 60 concerts each.

Minister of Culture, Giselle Gonzalez Villarrue Emphasizing the importance of presenting the young violinist, he thanked the efforts made by the Polish ambassador to Panama, Leszek Bialy, to achieve the artist’s presence in Panama.
