Workshop on creative production of film projects

For those who love film, the call for “Creative production workshop for film projects in Central America and the Caribbean” is open.

He workshop will receive applications for its second version to be held in Panama City in between June and October 2023.

This year 2023 workshop calls for projects fiction or documentary which are in the initial stage of development with the aim of empowering future producers and directors in the region.
The selection of Central American projects is open to filmmakers from the region of Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama and Mexico.

On the Caribbean side, it is open to filmmakers from Cuba, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Belize and Puerto Rico.

New this year includes South American countries: Colombia and Venezuela, the organizers announced.

It is a training space consisting of three modules, through which selected producers and directors will have the opportunity to work on the development of their projects hand in hand with professionals from the region’s cinematographic field and where the emphasis will be placed on creative production, especially in project development.

They become professionals project advisors and guide producers through the process of making their first or second film.
