As the BBC reported at 4:09 pm on Wednesday, Prince Harry will attend his father’s coronation on May 6. Harry’s wife Meghan, on the other hand, is not. Harry will be one of 2,000 guests at Westminster Abbey. It’s the first time he’s faced his family since the release of his autobiography, Spare.
In March, he was in London by surprise to attend a trial over alleged media invasions of privacy, but it is believed he did not meet his father Charles or his brother William.
May 6 is also Harry and Meghan’s son Archie’s 4th birthday. The two were contacted by the palace about a possible participation in the coronation celebrations a month ago, according to the BBC report. Meghan’s decision to stay home in California with the kids — supposedly because of Archie’s birthday — is another sign of the distance between her and the royal family, the BBC said.
Harry attends Charles III’s coronation. and Camilla do not play a major role, which is said to be reserved for the heir to the throne, Prince William.
