Frank Vallelonga Jr., known for his appearances on “The Sopranos” and “Green Book,” died of an “accidental overdose” of fentanyl and cocaine.
The body of Vallelonga Jr., 60, was found at 3:50 a.m. on Nov. 28, 2022, on Oak Point Ave., an industrial street in Hunts Point, with no identification, so it took several days to identify him.
It was first suspected that he died of a overdosehowever, yesterday, April 10, autopsy confirmed that the actor died of “acute poisoning due to the combined effects of fentanyl and cocaine”.
After finding the body, the police arrested one person, Steven Smithas suspiciously for concealing a body, possession of a stolen vehicle and aggravated theft.
According to the police report, Smith lives at a homeless shelter in the county, although he has been charged with concealment bodyis not involved in the actor’s death.
That guy was already dead,” the detainee told NYPD Criminal charges against him. “He overdosed. I had nothing to do with it.”
