Panamanians seem to be very fair when looking for a job. At least that’s what the research of an employment portal showed.
97% of the talents in Panama do not lie or exaggerate information in their resume, compared to 3% who answered yes, according to the results of the survey “How are you looking for a job today?”.
in review 13,907 talents from the region participated: 3,040 from Argentina, 1,726 from Chile, 4,491 from Ecuador, 2,008 from Panama and 2,642 from Peru.
The study explores how procedure through which a person goes in search of work.
Six out of 10 people apply for job vacancies via Web pages to look for a job.
These data could be known thanks to this study, which inquired about procedure which people go through to find a job and which is the inspiration for the new campaign “Against All: Employees” concert.
When looking for a job, Panamanians decide on different ways to apply, but job search portals are chosen the most by talents: 63 percent of them choose them.
While 25% prefer company pages, 5% of the professional network4% their circle of contacts and 3% through the HR agency.
Conversely, 62% of talent say they are mostly face-to-face, compared to 38% who say they are virtual.
Why do they lie?
What are the reasons why some talents Panamanians Do you decide to put fake information on your resume? 52% say it is because they urgently need to find a job, 27% because they have to apply for jobs for which they might appear unqualified, 13% because they have to apply for jobs for which they might be overqualified, and 8 % because they don’t believe in the possibility of finding a job without adding up false data.
