The airline must offer them a refund of the ticket price and alternative transportation to the destination. Passengers who have been penalized because the airline could not find volunteers will also receive compensation payments according to the above issues.
  • If airlines announce flight cancellations 14 days before departure, passengers cannot claim compensation.
