“John Wick 4” director gets into action with “Scream 6” star: “Reinvents the genre with a sexy rock ‘n’ roll approach!”

Bella is described as a hyper-stylized action thriller set in 1980s New York. The focus is on Samara Weaving, who is currently in the cinema with “Scream VI”, as the daughter of a police officer who struggles with death after an attempt on his life. The daughter is determined to find out who tried to kill her father. During her revenge campaign, she also clears up corruption in the New York Police Department.

“John Wick 4” director Chad Stahelski will produce the project with his company 87eleven Entertainment and will support director Larysa Kondracki. For them, “Bella” is the second feature film after the 2010 drama “Whistleblower – In Dangerous Mission”. In between, she directed numerous series episodes – including for “Better Call Saul”, “Gotham” and “Legion”.

Big Promises for “Bella”

In addition to Stahelski, Craig Flores, who had a surprise hit with the animal horror film “Crawl” and was previously involved in Zack Snyder’s “300”, produces the project for the Hollywood studio Paramount Pictures. Opposite the industry magazine Flores announced “Bella” and made big promises:
