Elena will debut in Panama

Elena, the new representative pop in Spanish, will soon perform in Panama as part of his Latin American tour that includes visits to Mexico, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.

There is still no confirmed date for the Puerto Rican singer-songwriter’s debut in Panama, but she recently released her second single, “Eres tú,” which precedes “Mil idiomas,” a song she interprets in five languages, Spanish, English, French, Portuguese, and Italian.

WITH “You are”, Available on all digital platforms, Elena demonstrates musical evolution and maturity, and is also a single that the artist identifies with.

“Eres tú” is a song I really identify with. In spite of the vulnerability that the subject shows at the beginning… then eventually grows. It reflects part of that heartbreak process, but also the maturity that this kind of experience brings you. I love that it’s a strong, empowering song,” commented Elena.

The single is a composition of the artist, which he produced Gustavo Gonzalez (vocalist and musician “BlackGuayaba”), was recorded in Puerto Rico, and post-production was done by engineers Bob St. John in the mix and Joe La Porta, from “Sterling Sound” in the mastering.

The visual part was shot in Mexico, at the film forum under the production of Marcelo Quiñones and Francesca Izquierdo. The video shows Elena “dramatically interpreting the song, aware of the space and the surreal theatrical games of the microscenography that support the lyrics of the song and the world of dreams presented in the video”, they reported via e-mail.

Who is Ellen?

Elena, 14 years old, was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and she started playing music from a very young age, she started taking piano lessons at the age of four, and at the age of five she was accepted into the San Juan children’s choir, where she participated for two years and was recognized as the student of the year.

He later auditioned in Conservatory of Music in Puerto to study classical music, she was accepted and studied there for two years, then began taking private lessons with teachers and sopranos Magda Nieves and Hilda Ramos.

From 2019 to 2020 Elena participated in the program Destination Broadway in New York, and last year he attended the Berklee University of Music summer program in Puerto Rico and Boston.

In addition, the singer-songwriter also stood out as an actress, she was part of the cast of the successful play “At Your Feet”, which was shown in Puerto Rico, where she played Gloria Estefan as a child.
