Manuel Turizo returns to “2000” with his long-awaited third album

Colombian singer Manuel Turizo has released his long-awaited third album “2000”, from which several songs have already seen the light of day and reached the top of the world music charts, such as “bachata” or “The Meringue”.

Turizo, who gained fame at the age of 16 with the song “A lady like you” and who is in the midst of the peak of his artistic career, presents 15 original songs with the label La Industria INC that are now available on all digital platforms.

“2000” is an album full of Colombian essence, so much so that many songs were written by Turizo and other artists such as Slow Mike, Jorge Emiliano, Nico Cotton, Edgar Barrera, his brother Julián Turizo and others.

Followers of the Colombian will be able to discover topics such as “sad”, pop A Latino flirting with him R&B and “Jamaica,” an urban-Caribbean tune made in collaboration with fellow Colombian Beéle, according to his record label Sony.

His new job also includes “Ecstasy”a high-energy romantic song featuring “la nena de Argentina”, María Becerra, that took over Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart, peaking at #8.

Turizo reaps success with his two songs “The Bachata” and “The Merengue“, a reinterpretation of classic Latin rhythms adapted to current sounds that sound at the top of the music platform charts. In fact, the first one was one of the most listened to abroad in the last year.

This tropical song has been trending for months YouTube, with more than 403 million visualization; it stayed at number one for 10 weeks on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart; reached number 1 on the list Latin Ariplay from Billboardand was in the Spotify Top 50 for 31 weeks.

for his part, “Meringues”, in collaboration with DJ and producer Marshmello, is also part of “2000”.
