“Bad Boys 4”: The first returnee alongside Will Smith and Martin Lawrence is certain!

With “Bad Boys For Life” the action franchise was very successfully revived three years ago, after “Bad Boys II” hit theaters in 2003. The third installment, directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, not only made the most money at the box office worldwide, but also received positive reception from the critics. So it’s no wonder “Bad Boys 4” quickly became an issue or a foregone conclusion.

Then, however, the Oscar scandal erupted when Will Smith gave fellow Chris Rock a juicy slap across the face onstage. Whether “Bad Boys 4” would really get there was suddenly more than just on point. But that’s all a thing of the past now, because not only is Part 4 officially in development, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will also reprise their iconic roles. But that’s not all, because as it has now been announced, another familiar face is expanding the action film’s cast.

A weapons expert returns

How etc reported, counts too Vanessa Hudgens to the ensemble of “Bad Boys 4”. Hudgens made her franchise debut as weapons expert Kelly in Bad Boys For Life. The actress is also best known for her roles in the series “High School Musical”, Zack Snyder’s “Sucker Punch”, Harmony Korine’s “Spring Breakers” and the Netflix-produced “Princess Swap” trilogy. It is not yet known whether there will be more returnees.

It is also not yet known what ‘Bad Boys 4’ will be about. The film is currently in pre-production at Sony Pictures with shooting scheduled for the next few months. As previously mentioned, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah will again direct the film.
