‘I walk for you’, ANCEC Panama humanitarian race

The National Association Against Cancer (ANCEC) is a non-profit organization working to fight cancer in Panama.

It is present in different parts of the country and offers education, prevention and early care services and aimed at promoting a culture of health to reduce the risks of this disease in the Panamanian population.

ANCEC branches are located in Western Panama, Los Santos, VeraguasCocle, Darien and Bocas del Toro.

This association is preparing for its first race-humanitarian walk, which bears the title “I walk for you” which will be held on April 16.

The activity aims to raise funds that allow them to continue execution projects and education population about prevention and timely diagnosis of cancer, said Dr. Aris Ramos, president of the association.

“I walk for you” will be held in coastal beltfrom 6:00 a.m., departure from the Pacific viewpoint, arrival at the Parque del Florista and return to the starting point.

Race has three segmented categories in 5k for adults and 1k for children, pets and wheelchairs.

It’s an activity the whole family can participate in, said Dr. Ramos.

Those interested in participating can contact the administrative offices of ANCEC Panama, at 225-4942 / 225-4322, the donation for this activity is priced at $10 for adults, $5 for children
and $3 for pets.
