This action smash is currently buzzing the internet – one of the biggest movies of 2023 is being followed by more from Shah Rukh Khan

As is often the case with Indian films, everything about “Jawan” is still very much a secret. We know that the film exists and that it will hit theaters in the summer of 2023. In addition, a poster has been published and those involved have been announced. But what it is about is still a mystery. And even moving images may not be made public beyond a small announcement teaser. But that has now changed.

A short clip of just a few seconds containing a series of short clips from various slow-motion action sequences from the movie has leaked and is causing a lot of excitement. Even though production company Red Chillies Entertainment has taken down the video everywhere, the clip and especially a snippet of it is popping up again and again on social media – featuring raving voices from fans who are already celebrating the film.

That’s certainly not only due to the fact that a cool Shah Rukh Khan naughty with a cigarette limping nonchalantly in the corner of his mouth slays a few thugs with a belt, but also one of the ten most successful films of 2023 so far.

“Pathaan”: already one of the action hits of 2023

“Pathaan”, which opened in late January 2023, has so far grossed more than $110 million worldwide, broken several records in its home country and is currently among the ten highest grossing films of the year worldwide. Many moviegoers in Germany in particular are excited about a new side of superstar Shah Rukh Khan. After a longer break with only a few guest appearances, the super agent of the same name now explicitly presents himself as the protagonist for the first time.

Director Atlee Kumar’s film is scheduled to premiere on June 2, 2023. No date has yet been confirmed for Germany, but we currently assume that “Jawan”, like countless Indian blockbusters recently, will start in parallel in this country, so also around June 2, 2023.

In addition to Shah Rukh Khan, we will see Nayanthara (“Annaatthe”) and Vijay Sethupathi (“Vikram”) in other roles, among others. Deepika Padukone, Khan’s Pathaan co-star, also makes a cameo appearance. So the duo will probably reunite.
